Surface Design have been engaged by UTS as Façade Engineer for the UTS Central refurbishment, our role includes design of the complex façade elements and Section J assessment for the project. The proposed glass façade to Broadway forms the main entry on the south of the UTS building, the façade extends to the library and various teaching spaces. The project is designed by FJMT with Lacoste and Stevenson. Rising above the podium is to be a new tower incorporating feature glass window walls with unique geometry.
